Marcia and Michael, parents to five beautiful children, including Mia, their nonverbal autistic daughter, found themselves navigating the unique joys and challenges of raising a special needs child.

Marcia and Michael were deeply attuned to her world, witnessing the myriad ways in which she illuminated their lives with her boundless spirit. Yet, they also recognized the struggles Mia faced in a world that often failed to understand her needs and celebrate her uniqueness.

During a discussion with Mia's therapist, they discovered that many families like theirs felt excluded from traditional photography settings, where the environment could be overwhelming for children like Mia.

Touched by this realization and inspired by Mia's resilience, Marcia and Michael were determined to make a difference. They believed fervently that every child deserved to have their moments captured and celebrated, regardless of their abilities. Thus, Mia's Moments was born.
